  • My own supply of Grapevine!

Well, for the past few months I've been chopping down trees and trying to clear my property of the wild trees and vines that had taken over. Today I decided to go out and burn a lot of the chopped down vines and such and began pulling out Grapevines. So I decided I'd save some for aquarium use! I pulled out enough to last me a while and began burning the rest. Here are pictures of the branches drying. Think I got enough lol?

No worries. I have another 2 acres of trees to cut down. All this grapevine came out of maybe a quarter of an acre.

Hey jon, not to sound too foolish here but after looking at this again im begining to wonder if it is grape vine or if it isnt something else. The bark is what is making me wonder, usually grapevine has a smoother texture to it, where this looks rather rough, and actually reminds me more of the lilac trees (yes they are that tall lol) at my mothers house.

I'm fairly certain they are wild grapes. Leaves looked exactly like grape leaves and they had little grape like fruit on them. Sour as all heck though. Here's a picture of wild grape wood: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h...o/IMG_0915.jpg

Definitely not trees . These guys grow like vines and were really difficult to get off of things.
