  • Any tips to store dry ferts?

I have dry ferts from GLA and they are still in the zip lock bags that they came in with and I'm tired of having them in those bags.

Does anybody have any recommendation of containers that are stackable that I can use to store my dry ferts? I've been looking for something compact.

What about those OXO containers that have those lids that push down in the middle to seal? I use them for food around here, but something like that might work well.

Or maybe the small containers like the packaged meats come in? I think Glad sells them. And they are stackable and come in a lot of different sizes.

I'm to much of klutz to use those, I thought about it, but I would probably end up accidentally dropping one in the future.

I have plastic containers from Ball, the canning company. They are about the size of yogurt cups, stackable, and easy to handle. My extras sit in a box in the original packaging.

I can take a picture tonight when I get home, if you'd like.

I keep them in the ziplock baggies from GLA and just put them into the gladware or ziplock brand containers for storage. That way I have a label on the bag of whats in there.

I used to have the lid labled until I got them confused one day and was glad I still had the bags in there to help me tell them apart.

A seam on one of my bags busted tonight so I'll be on the search for some additional containers tomorrow!

Here's the containers I use. They are manufactured to be stackable. And the lids are self locking for easy storage.

Being plastic containers I use a permanent marker to label them.

I ended up getting these containers for my dry fert that I found at the Restaurant Supply Depot.
