  • What is wrong with my plant?

I got a couple of Enchinodorus tenellus a couple months ago. The blades were 6 inches when I initially got them now the new growth are shorter closer to the tank floor.

    This tank has 2 x 54 watt 6700 daylight.

The other tank the plant exhibits the samw growth...2 CFL 13 watt standard 10 gallon.

Have you been using root tabs or other substrate ferts? All sword type plants are heavy root feeders. The only other thing that comes to mind is that it appears that it may be getting shaded; but hard to tell.

I use root tabs. One of them can possibly be shaded but the other is not. I'll check tomorrow when my lights turn on.
