  • Emmerse vs Submerse leaf shapes

I find it fascinating how some plants leaves look totally different when grown submerse vs emmerse.

For example Hygrophila difformis aka water wisteria has two different leaf shapes depending on emmerse and submerse.

Btw...feel free to relocate this posting, didn't know if it is suppose to be in Plant Care or General Aquatic Chatter.

It is very interesting. Java Moss and Java Ferns also look different emmersed.

    Thread moved to Plant Care.
