  • Members Angels?

    Hello

I thought I would ask as I am very interested and as we are a growing family of Angel carers

How many Angels does everyone have and and what kind, sex, size, age?

I keep losing track and would love to know and please post as many pictures as physically possible lets make an epic Angel thread

Ill start I have two juvenile DD angels called Monty and Herschel as most know Herschel is the ring leader and Monty is a more gentle sheep (I got the naming mixed up but it stuck)

They both have a golden tinge to them which is very hard to catch in pictures but here are a couple or more old ones and once I've cleaned the glass tomorrow ill take some more

Do you honestly want me to take a head count I'd be at it all day!!!

        Ummm, here's my start....

        In the 125G:
A huge Silver Marble, male, 5 years
        Zebra male, 5 years
Panda Angela pair, 3 years, 3rd generation from my breeding

        In the 90G:
7 Blue Smokeys, about half with pearlscale, about 1.5 years
5 Pinoy Smokeys, a few with pearlscale, about 1.5 years

        In the 55G:
        Gold Marble, male, 3 years
        Platinum Pearscale, female, 3 years
        Smokey Veiltail, male, 3 years
10 DD Blacks, about 6 months
About 30 Koi juvies (Red Capped, Gold Marbles, Golds, lemon yellow koi, etc), about 6 months

        In the 30G:
        11 Philippine Blue/Koi angels, 5 months
1 DD Black, about 6 months....because he is too hard to catch! He should be in the 55!

        In the 25G:
        Mated pair.
Red Capped Koi, female, 2nd generation, 4 years. The prolific female to most of my juvies currently
Philippine Blue Silver, male, 3 years.

So, what does that add up to

I got 3 lol just hard to follow up after Dena so figure somebody had to take it for the team lol.

one seems to be almost a pure black and might have a deep hiding veil gene
One is a gold and quite fat and happy
one is a Koi with some nice orange coloring to them.

I have 8 - 4 in my 150G that are paired up and 4 in my 75G because the paired ones were always picking on them all the time. I think the 4 single ones are all males, but I'm really not sure.

I am not good on species. I have 2 black ones that I know are females. There are 3 koi type fish, 2 of which I know are males because they have paired with the black ones. One of the koi ones is a pearlscale. The other 3 are striped. One is real small and one has long veil-type fins. I would put on pictures but I am getting the evil eye because hubby is having a nicotine fit and needs to go south for cigarettes.

75g - 3 DD black angels, about 1.5 years old, and about quarter to half dollar size. These things grow sooooooo slowwwwww.

20g - male DD black and female gold. Both about 2-2.5 inches in diameter. They spawn regularly for me but the last 3 spawns have been eaten and resulted in a horrible feud between the parents.

10g - 4 pea size fry from the parents above.

55 gl - 1 Koi Angel - about 2 years - size probably about 3.5 inches - i think a female ( many different tankmates with her, from a 7 inch Discus to a rainbow shark, Golden gourami and green kissing gourami along with many tetras and barbs)

55g - Moo and Boo, sex undetermined. Moo is supposed to be a Gold Marble. Boo is just an "assorted veiltail" with stripes and marbling.
