  • Blue Marbles Spawned Again

This time I'm trying to hatch the eggs. Usually I would let them sit in the tank overnight and wait to see if they are fertilized.

This is the second spawn for the this Blue Marble Pair, they both bit me when I took the Anubias plant that had their eggs and placed it into a 10 gallon tank. Some mistakes were taken btw...I dose the 10 gallon with Methylene Blue with the Seeded Sponge filter in the tank. I should of used an airstone first, I hope the Methylene blue didn't kill my seeded sponge filter.

Awesome! I hope they hatch. I've never had M. Blue crash one of my tanks before. I wouldn't be terribly worried. But yes, normally you add an airstone to a hatching tank.

Is the methylene blue a fungicide? Good luck with them

Some of the eggs have turned white, will be picking off the white eggs with an eye dropper. Hopefully they are fertilized eggs then again they are still young Angels probably 7 months old.

Did you do wc's to remove the methylene blue? Does it only take a brief exposure to do what it needs? Just curious, it doesn't look blue in there anymore

I didn't do any WC, the tank still has a hint of blue but MB dissipates over time.
