  • Krib Eggs?

So apparently the blue hue eggs are unfertilized eggs and the brown/beige ones are... so I read a few different places of eggs taking 4 to 7 days to hatch... Um pretty sure these eggs on the rock cave ceiling are older than that... anyone know what's up here?

How have the pair been behaving for the last week or two? Mine started guarding the wood "cave" that they claimed. The male would block the opening and the female stayed in there most of the time. I think it was a week-ish after they started doing that when the debuted the fam. I never saw the eggs, so no help there.

They guard their cave, she is in and out while he guards BUT he also goes inside and she guards the outside...

Well... I can see fertilized eggs on the cave walls and I can see the unfertilized eggs in the substrate...

The earliest I had Krib eggs hatch was 3 days. Latest was nearer to 8 I think. But the normal time frame for mine was 4-5 days.

Good luck with the babies. Off topic, but which canister filter did you ultimately go with?

Thanks... I went for the API File tar xP XL... it had true rate with media (190gph) so I went with the canister rated for a 265g
