Does anyone have any experience with Threadfin Rainbows? I've been googling the interweb to see what space they inhabit in the tank. Are they top, middle, bottom dwellers?

IME they're top to mid dwellers. They swim all over but, when given enough cover, seem to prefer to stay near the top. They're awesome. fish. Zumi has some

Lol you sillies, I do not I have praecox rainbows (from YOU, Rogue!! ). I wanted to get some but didn't for various reasons (more expensive, afraid their delicate fins would get nipped, etc). I saw them at my LFS last weekend, they didn't look nearly as glamorous as online. I wonder if those (on google) are like optimal shots...like ready to breed, showing-off males or something.

I had some thread fins, they were usually at the top 1/4 of the tank thou did wander occasionally to the lower levels but never for long.

Ate just about anything I would feed the tank as well.
