My rosey fry, Zippy, is being a nippy little pill; He has started picking on Gary, the snail. He is moving around the 10 gal with his little feelers curled close tonhis shell. Zippy is 2 months old and 1 1/2in long approx. My barbs in the 55gal are all full grown I believe. Is Zippy big enough not to be a snack?

Does it look like any of the larger fish could eat the fry? If not, I'd say he would be fine.

Agreed with Jon, as long as nothing looks like it's big enough to get it's mouth around Zippy, then yes, put him with the big boys.

Maybe I'll go pick up a few more tall plants for him to hide in (excuse for trip to lfs).

Update on Zippy. He is doing well in the 55; they did't even pay attention to him. He looks really happy trying to school with the big guys. Gary, the snail, is much happier, has his feelers out and cruising around the 10 at what I'assuming is full speed. Thanks everyone.

That's great news all the way around.
