  • Today's the day!

I have a big day ahead of me! I'm going to:

-move Rex's 40 breeder across the house. This tank comes complete with 50 pounds of sand @.@
-drain and clean the 20 long
-set up and move fish from the 20 long to my new 29 gallon and place where Rex's tank was (mom doesn't want such a tall tank in the living room, so Rex's stubby tank will go out there, plus he gets to be more social out there lol)
-move Bruce from the 50 gallon to the 29 gallon (poor dude, but it's for the best, as it's easier to clean a smaller tank ) and move all the disabled and smaller goldfish to the 50 gallon.

And eventually, when I get all the stuff (funds holding me back at the moment), I'll move Amelia into the 20 long, and the 20 long will stay we're it is (in the dining room).

Good luck. I can't foresee moving any of my tanks around. Way to heavy.

Wow! Have fun, that sounds like a busy day.

Sooooo, next week will you move all of them back where they started or more in a rotational movement pattern?

Thanks guys! And NO, I'm not moving anyone else's tanks. Nice try, though

Heres now the tanks stand right now:

-20 long: 3x 2 inch or less goldfish, 2 platies, 2 male Endlers, Clown Pleco, 2 1/2 inch BN pleco, betta
-50 gallon: Bruce, 3 inch common goldfish (to be moved to the pond when it warms up), 2 blue danios, 2 zebra danios, 3 platies, 2 Endlers, sailfin pleco (to be moved to pond), BN pleco, 4 swamp darters
-3 gallon QT: 2 inch Oranda
                -10 gallon: leopard gecko (Amelia)

                The plans are:
-29 gallon: Bruce, Clown pleco, small BN, blue danios, all the Endlers, the 2 platies from the 20 long. When the sailfin is moved to the pond, this BN will get moved to the 50 gallon, otherwise known as the "Love Shack"
-50 gallon: all 4 of the small fancy goldfish, the common until its moved outside, the existing platies, zebra danios (will replace the part of the school killed off by the blues with long finned white zebras), sailfin, BN, swamp darters, betta
                -20 long: Amelia

I'm still deciding if I want to use the 10 gallon as my sump project for the 50 gallon, or if I want to save it for QT for a larger fish if need be... However, PetCo's sale is coming up, and I have a $2 off $10 purchase coupon somewhere, so I could do both

There is also a mean Molly in the 50 gallon that I'm not sure what to do with. My thought is is to let her take her chances in the pond.... May just put her in the 29 with Bruce, though, as she doesn't bother him.

Also, all the plants in the 20 long will be moved to the 50 gallon. Bruce will just tear everything up, and I'd really like the plants to take hold before the little guys got much larger and do what Bruce dose to them LOL

I can imagine. I think a 10g is heavy enough.

Done! Took longer than I wanted because we had to go out for a bit, but everyone did fine and are enjoying their new tanks.

                              The 50 gallon finial stock:

                              -1 common goldfish (m)
                              -4 fancy goldfish (2m 2f?)
                              -3 platies (1m 2f)
-2 zebra danios (plan on adding a handful of longfinned gold zebras)
                              -4 swam darters (2m 2f)
                              -1 sailfin pleco (f)
                              -1 BN pleco ("Ninja." f)

                              29 gallon final stocking:
                              -1 fancy goldfish (Bruce)
                              -2 platies (1m 1f)
                              -1 betta (m)
                              -1 Clown Pleco (m)
                              -1 BN Pleco (m)
                              -4 Endlers (2m 2f)
                              -2 blue danios
                              -1 panda Cory
-7 assorted guppy and Platy fry (from petco)

The Molly was kicked out to the 150 gallon pond. It was a great pleasure doing so lol And the little common goldfish is trying out his new found man-hood on Dharma and Pudge (poor girls XD). Pics up ASAP!
