From what I've read Kribs like Golden Mbunas both sexes look the same for a little while so they can get bigger without larger males killing off the competition

I can't scale how big they are.... how big are they?.... bigger than mine that's for sure lol

I was going off the fact that they are switching from the mottled camouflage to having a distinct lateral stripe, but it may be a while, huh?

They are all around 1cm, with the a few a little larger.

Robin, and Jonathan: *wiping tear* They grow up so fast

So cute. I wish mine would have some babies. They keep digging out caves, but no action that I have seen.

I was certainly surprised to look in the tank and see these a while ago!

They are starting to show some orange on their fins.

                      Hahaha

They are exact replicas of the adults, even starting to color up on dorsal fins

1cm or roughly 3/8"...thats pretty big. Well over double in size from when I first saw them as free swimmers.

The biggest ones are maybe 7/16"

Now I just have to find out how big they need to be before my LFS will take 'em.

watch the fins, they dont lie. The tail and the dorsal (call it what you like lol) will give the sex away already if you look hard enough.

There are already plenty of my nose prints on the front of the tank, I've been going cross-eyed from staring at tiny fins
