  • Is this Ich?

Is this Ich on my Angel's side fin? I haven't had Ich in ages and I'm not sure if I am just making big deal out of nothing.

Skip to .25 and I put a little speech bubble.

If the Angel was looking at you, it would be the left side fin, if the Angle has tail to you, the right fin. Any help/feedback is appreciated.

        Magic

You need to type [ video] at the beginning of the link and then [ /video] at the end. so [ video] http://youtu.be/-m9AynXO3zc [ /video] but with no spaces.

I had to put a space between [ and video or they wont show up.

          Thanks. I didn't know that.

Have you seen the video? Is it Ich? Just one white bump is all I see on this Angel, and this is the Angel that spawned.

I didn't see any ICH. Could just be from the Angels being a little rough with each other.

                  Hi,

Not ich. Too big for it IMO. Looks like some kind of bacterial or fungal infection. I'd lean towards bacterial. Sometimes that happens when fish bumps a fin too hard or something similar creating a 'cut'. Best way to get rid of those is to do a couple large waterchanges and do a couple really good gravel vacs.

When you say a couple WCs, are you talking WCs throughout the week or all in the same day? Also, is it contagious? Should I QT? I would hate to QT this Angel because he/she just spawned.

I wonder if its just some stress from it?

Nope, no need to QT. I never did. I meant just a couple throughout the next few weeks. 80% twice a week with a gravel vac would be ideal.

She could have hurt her fin during spawning. I wouldn't put it past the angels.

if not clean water is never a bad thing for the fish.

Just saw your comment. Yes, stress from breeding is definitely a contributing factor.

I'll do the WCs, but no gravel vac for this tank (Dirted).
