  • Dustin's 20 Long

Even though it technically isn't -my- tank, it's in my house and I'm helping him with it as I bought all the equipment (and most of the stock!)

    Current Livestock:
    5 male endlers
    5 Celestial Pearl Danios
    3 otos
8 corydoras hasbrous (salt and pepper dwarfs)

I set this up last night in a real hurry, and this morning more plants have gone into it, but it's no where near scaped yet.

    Lighting: 2 30 inch t5no bulbs
    Filter: Mini canister
Substrate: Sand with clay pockets for iron

The endlers are -not- happy about the move. They're all hanging up in a corner behind the filter tubes, so we turned off one of the bulbs for now.

It's looking pretty good so far. I'm sure the endlers will come around eventually once they get used to their new home.

Grumpy endlers lol! tank looks great to me, I'm sure the endlers will agree shortly when they get over their jetlag

Looks great! Are your Java Ferns planted? They need to have their roots in the water or else they'll melt.

We've lost a CPD here and the I told him about the java fern...he wants to leave it planted and it is growing like this o.O Tank is currently undergoing a mini cycle with ammonia spikes of .25 ppm. The endlers have come out of hiding though.

I normally just like the natural look, with an occasional flower pot or something thrown in as a cave, but yours has a nice, peaceful quality to it. Very nice.

Looks good, sorry about the loss of the CPD, I never seem to have good luck with them, they seem to be almost as fragile as OTOs.

The worst part is, we've seen them around in all our shops..and now no one is shipping, so replacing or upping the school is difficult.

I have the same problem around here, suddenly there will be almost an explosion of them in the stores, then a week or two later there gone and no one can get any.

Apparently the last shipment of CPDs they got in...all 25 kicked the bucket very quickly.

                            Today's purchases:
                            Lace rock
                            Mopani wood
                            Anubuis nana (huge piece!)
                            Flame moss
                            Micro sword
                            Rosette sword
                            6x Black Phantom Tetras

                            Pics to come later.
