LoL... let's just say since I let her help me do the substrate... and mix all the colors together... and then set it all up with the decor the blue moon light acts like a black light with the rocks it actually looks good...I was more than surprised how nice it came out... she is ecstatic and I got a million hugs and kisses... this REALLY made her feel like a big girl because its bigger than my QT tank that she wanted.... pictures tomorrow set up with fishes... and BTW... I found two guppy fry... now she s even more ecstatic...............

lol now she thinks she is a daddy... <~~ if that doesn't melt a Dad what does? lol

OK so I have a few shots light and moonlight shots, I love the way the Kribs, Spot and Girly are all white now instead of dark because of getting out of the black substrate...

          4 day light shots

You know - even with princesses, technicolor substrate and pink decorations, that tank looks awesome.

for the kids tank, that actually looks really good. nice job to your daughter for the design (with a little help from dad i am sure lol)

I have seen those types of tanks at night, they do look good especially with the right fish in them. a couple of the danio glow fish would look really cool under the moon lights. the green ones really stand out, or you could do the skirt tetra ones. just watch out that they are not the tiger barb ones,

Awesome for her. She will be a fish expert before she hits her teens and that is a wonderful thing.

Very nice! My daughter is very proud of her tank too but we did avoid the technicolor gravel because It was an already established 10 gallon we moved and divided for her. The moonlight effect does look sweet in that tank! It's awesome to pass the hobby down to the childrens isn't it!
