  • Zoas and Palys

Recently moved my zoanthid plug next to a plug of palythoas which had been closed for weeks. The paly opened up the other day and turned out to be one of the nicer ones I had bought. It's a Purple Death Palythoa. Kinda cool. Once it grows more it'll be bigger than the size of the Zoanthids I believe.

      Indeed.

This is what adults look like. I'm also trying to resurrect some of those green palythoas in the picture. http://areefcreation.com/catalog/ima...th%20Palys.jpg

Thanks! I successfully resurrected the purple death lol. I wish I had started on my greens at the same time. Right now I'm working on my last two frags that haven't opened or haven't melted away. The Captain America Paly and the Neon Green Paly. Neon green is looking better but on the verge of melting. Captain America Paly hasn't responded at all.

Some get big and some stay small lol. Japanese Zoanthids are the smallest I know of. I wanna say they vary in sizes from 1-3cm.
